It prompted some thought around Google Maps and how it continues to evolve and shape the way we get around. This includes full integration of the app into all technology touch points, especially mobile. Even with my poor sense of direction, Google Maps remains my digital crutch to navigate to my destination. At the same time, I’ve seen this social component, such as the Facebook-like functionality to mark out favorite locations for social networking.
